Dear brethren this is an account of things and events
that have been unfolding ¾ since Jesus Christ came into the flesh, until now ¾ in these last
days, if you are able to receive it. The Lord God knowing a pure heart, will
not refuse you.
As it is written of Jesus Christ: a I
"have many things to say, but you cannot bear to hear them now. However
when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he
shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak:
and he will show you things to come."
It is
written in Daniel the prophet . b
“Those who are wise
will instruct many, though for a time they will fall by the sword or be burned
or captured or plundered. When they fall, they will receive a little help,
and many who are not sincere will join them. Some of the wise will stumble, so
that they may be refined, purified and made spotless until the time of the end,
for it will still come at the appointed time. When
they fall and are helped a little, it is because they cannot be helped very
much because they are not able to receive it. As it is written in Isiaih: c Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand
doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the
breasts. This is what and why our Savior
prophesied as recorded by Matthew: d And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give
suck in those days. Remember
that the words our savior spoke were and are always spirit, we must be
spiritual minded always.
Here we begin to see and understand the beginning of
these baptisms
And John declared: e John
answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one
mightier than I comes, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose:
he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire: Whose fan is in
his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor, and will gather the wheat
into his garner; but the chaff he will burn with fire unquenchable.
Jesus Christ said: ee “I have come to bring fire on the earth,
and how I wish it were already kindled! But I have a baptism to undergo, and how distressed I am
until it is completed. And all the elect of God are baptized
of the Holy Spirit and fire. by Jesus Christ.
Then Jesus came to them and
said, f
“All
authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make
disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the
Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have
commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Here we see and understand
what they do as we preach the gospel to them: g Then shall
they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and you shall be hated
of all nations for my name’s sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall
betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall
rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of
many shall grow cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be
saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a
witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
h I am
sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as snakes and
as innocent as doves. “Be on your guard against men; they
will hand you over to the local councils and flog you in their synagogues. On my account you will be brought
before governors and kings as witnesses to them and to the Gentiles. But when they arrest you, do not worry
about what to say or how to say it. At that time you will be given what to say,
for it will not be you
speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.
“Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child;
children will rebel against their parents and have them put to death. All men will hate you because of me,
but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. When you are persecuted in one place,
flee to another. I tell you the truth, you will not finish going through the
cities of Israel before the Son of Man comes.
“A student is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his
master. It is enough for the
student to be like his teacher, and the servant like his master. If the head of
the house has been called Beelzebub, how much more the members of his
household!
When the thought from Satan and
Antichrist comes and says, “Be careful, you are giving away secrets, remember
what is said below of our Lord”.
I “So
do not be afraid of them. There is nothing concealed that will not be
disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known. What I tell you in the dark,
speak in the daylight; what is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the roofs.
Do not be afraid of those
who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who
can destroy both soul and body in hell.
J In those
days John the Baptist came, preaching in the Desert of Judea and saying, “Repent, for the kingdom
of heaven is near.” This is
he who was spoken of through the prophet Isaiah:
“A voice of one calling in the desert,
‘Prepare the way for the Lord,
make straight paths for him.’”
John’s clothes were made of camel’s hair,
and he had a leather belt around his waist. His food was locusts and wild
honey.
But when he saw many of the Pharisees and
Sadducees coming to where he was baptizing, he said to them: “You brood of
vipers! Who warned you to flee from the coming wrath? Produce fruit in keeping with
repentance. And do not think
you can say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ I tell you that out
of these stones God can raise up children for Abraham. The ax is already at the root of the
trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and
thrown into the fire. “I
baptize you with water for repentance. But after me will come one who is more
powerful than I, whose sandals I am not fit to carry. He will baptize you with
the Holy Spirit and with fire. His
winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor, gathering
his wheat into the barn and burning up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”
John was the forerunner of Jesus
Christ, our Savior, he it is now preaching repentance to us, in the spirit of
Elijah, he is still eating locusts and wild honey.
For John warned of the wrath to come: In Jeremiah 1:14-16 it
is written.
Then the Lord said to me:
“Out
of the north calamity shall break forth
On all the inhabitants of the land.
For behold, I
am calling
All the families of the kingdoms of the north,” says the Lord;
“They shall come and each one set his throne
At the entrance of the gates of Jerusalem, ¾
So it is written in Matthew23:13-15
“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees,
you hypocrites! You shut the kingdom of heaven in men’s faces. You yourselves
do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to.
“Woe to you, teachers of the law and
Pharisees, you hypocrites! You travel over land and sea to win a single
convert, and when he becomes one, you make him twice as much a son of hell as
you are
In Amos it is written: 8: 11-14, we
read of these seas.
Behold,
the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a
famine of bread, nor a thirst for, water, but of hearing the words of
the LORD: And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even
to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and
shall not find it. In that day shall the fair virgins and young men
faint for thirst. They that swear by the sin of Samaria, and say, Thy god, O
Dan, liveth; and, The manner of Beersheba liveth; even they shall fall, and
never rise up again.
Rev 17:15. Here John writes of these
waters.
Then
he said to me, “The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are
peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues.“
Luke 21:20-24
But when you see
Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near.
“Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those who are in
the midst of her depart, and let not those who are in the country enter her.
“For these are the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be
fulfilled. “But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing
babies in those days! For there will be great distress in the land and wrath
upon this people. “And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away
captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the
times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
¾
Below
Jeremiah continues.
Against
all its walls all around,
And against all the cities of Judah.
I will utter My judgments
Against them concerning all their wickedness,
Because they have forsaken Me,
Burned incense to other gods,
And worshiped the works of their own hands.
k Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am
a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips:
for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts. Then flew one of the
seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken
with the tongs from off the altar: And he laid it upon my mouth, and
said, Lo, this has touched your lips; and your iniquity is taken away, and your
sin purged. Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and
who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.
And he said, Go, and tell this people, You
hear indeed, but do not understand; and you see indeed, but do not perceive.
Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their
eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand
with their heart, and convert, and be healed. Then said I, Lord, how long? And
he answered, Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses
without man, and the land be utterly desolate, And the LORD have removed men
far away, and there be a great forsaking in the midst of the land. But
yet in it shall be a tenth, and it shall return, and shall be
eaten: as a teil tree, and as an oak, whose substance is in them, when
they cast their leaves: so the holy seed shall be the substance
thereof.
Here the Spirit of God spoke in Isiaih
and below is written of the fulfillment by Matthew:
l And the disciples came and said to Him, “Why do You speak to
them in parables?” He answered and said to them, “Because it has been given to
you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been
given. “For whoever has, to him more will be given, and he will have abundance;
but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.
“Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing
they do not hear, nor do they understand. “And in them the prophecy of Isaiah
is fulfilled, which says:
‘Hearing
you will hear and shall not understand,
And seeing you will see and not perceive;
For the hearts of
this people have grown dull.
Their ears are hard of hearing,
And their eyes they have closed,
Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their
ears,
Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn,
So that I should heal them.’
“But blessed are your eyes for they see,
and your ears for they hear; “for assuredly, I say to you that many prophets
and righteous men desired to see what you see, and did not see it,
and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.
Below, written in Matthew is why the
two thirds could not understand.
m All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables;
and without a parable spake he not unto them: That it might be fulfilled which
was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will
utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.
Here in Zechariah we understand the reason for the fire of the Lords’ northern armies.(their docturne) It took all this to separate the Elect people of God, from the rest.. Here it begins. We read of how those who are to be cut off are deceived: See: Luke chapter 16: 8-9. For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12.
n “Awake, O sword, against My Shepherd,
Against the Man who
is My Companion,”
Says the Lord
of hosts.
“Strike the Shepherd,
And the sheep will be scattered;
Then I will turn My hand against the little ones.
And it shall
come to pass in all the land,”
Says the Lord,
“That two-thirds in it shall be cut off and die,
But one- third shall be left in it:
I will bring the one-third through the fire,
Will refine them as silver is refined,
And test them as gold is tested.
They will call on My name,
And I will answer them.
I will say, ‘This is My people’;
And each one will say, ‘The Lord
is my God.’ ”
In
the earthly crucifixion of our savior, the followers were scattered for fear of
the Jews, even so it also came about in the spirit. So we read of it in Hebrew
chapter six, as they crucified Jesus Christ to themselves ¾ they
put out the sun and the night came where not any could work ¾ all the
sheep were scattered.
In John 9:4-5: Our savior said: “I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the
night is coming when no one can work. “As long as I am in the world, I am the
light of the world.”
When they, that are to be cut off ask
¾ it is written of their fate in Jeremiah.
p Then the Lord said to
me, “Even if Moses and Samuel stood before Me, My mind would not be
favorable toward this people. Cast them out of My sight, and let them go
forth. 2“And it shall be, if they say to you, ‘Where should we go?’
then you shall tell them, ‘Thus says the Lord:
“Such as are for death, to death;
And such as are for the sword, to the sword;
And such as are for the famine, to the famine;
And such as are for the captivity,
to the captivity.” ’
“And I will appoint over them four forms of
destruction,” says the Lord:
“the sword to slay, the dogs to drag, the birds of the heavens and the beasts
of the earth to devour and destroy. “I will hand them over to trouble, to
all kingdoms of the earth, because of Manasseh the son of Hezekiah,
king of Judah, for what he did in Jerusalem.
There are two kinds of prodigals: one
kind is meek, repentant, loves from the heart and the other kind that does not
know or understand this, but gives lip service. Here above in Jeremiah it is
written of the other kind and their fate. These are a parable of what is
prophesied above in Jeremiah and in Moses, when he spoke to the Jews of what
would happen to them, because they did not rejoice for the abundance of all
things: Deuteronomy 28:47. These are a foreshadow of what has been taking place
¾ in spirit and in truth ¾ since our Lord came into the world.
Declare you in Judah, and publish in
Jerusalem; and say, Blow you the trumpet in the land: cry, gather together, and
say, Assemble yourselves, and let us go into the defenced cities. Set up the
standard toward Zion: retire, stay not: for I will bring evil from the north,
and a great destruction. The lion
is come up from his thicket, and the destroyer of the Gentiles is on his
way; he is gone forth from his place to make your land desolate; and
your cities shall be laid waste, without an inhabitant. ¾ 1
Peter 5:8-9: Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks
about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him,
steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by
your brotherhood in the world ¾ For this gird yourselves with sackcloth,
lament and howl: for the fierce anger of the LORD is not turned back from us.
And it shall come to pass at that day, says the LORD, that the heart of
the king shall perish, and the heart of the princes; and the priests shall be
astonished, and the prophets shall wonder. Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! surely
you have greatly deceived this people and Jerusalem, saying, You shall have
peace; whereas the sword reaches unto the soul.
As we read in Joel chapter two below,
there is given a greater picture of that above in Jeremiah.
q Joel:
Blow the trumpet in Zion;
sound the alarm on my holy hill.
Let all who live in the land tremble,
for the day of the LORD is coming.
It is close at hand—
a day of darkness and gloom,
a day of clouds and blackness.
Like dawn spreading across the mountains
a large and mighty army comes,
such as never was of old
nor
ever will be in ages to come.
Before them fire devours,
behind them a flame blazes.
Before them the land is like the garden of
Eden,
behind them, a desert waste—
nothing escapes them.
They have the appearance of horses;
they gallop along like cavalry.
With a noise like that of chariots
they leap over the mountaintops,
like a crackling fire consuming stubble,
like a
mighty army drawn up for battle.
At the sight of them, nations are in
anguish;
every face turns pale.
They charge like warriors;
they scale walls like soldiers.
They all march in line,
not swerving from their course.
They do not jostle each other;
each marches straight ahead.
They plunge through defenses
without breaking ranks.
They rush upon the city;
they run along the wall.
They climb into the houses;
like thieves
they enter through the windows.
Before them the earth shakes,
the sky trembles,
the sun and moon are darkened,
and the stars no longer shine.
The LORD thunders
at the head of his army;
his forces are beyond number,
and mighty are those who obey his command.
The day of the LORD is great;
it is dreadful.
Who can
endure it?
‘Even now,‘ declares the LORD,
‘return to me with all your heart,
with
fasting and weeping and mourning.‘
Rend your heart
and not your garments.
Return to the LORD your God,
for he is gracious and compassionate,
slow to anger and abounding in love,
and he relents from sending calamity.
Who knows? He may turn and have pity
and leave behind a blessing—
grain offerings and drink offerings
for the
LORD your God.
Blow the trumpet in Zion,
declare a holy fast,
call a sacred assembly.
Gather the people,
consecrate the assembly;
bring together the elders,
gather the children,
those nursing at the breast.
Let the bridegroom leave his room
and the bride her chamber.
Let the priests, who minister before the
LORD,
weep between the temple porch and the
altar.
Let them say, ‘Spare your people, O LORD.
Do not make your inheritance an object of
scorn,
a byword among the nations.
Why should they say among the peoples,
‘Where
is their God?’‘
Then the LORD will be jealous for his land
and take pity on his people.
The LORD will reply to them:
‘I am sending you grain, new wine and oil,
enough to satisfy you fully;
never again will I make you
an
object of scorn to the nations.
‘I will drive the northern army far from
you,
pushing it into a parched and barren land,
with its front columns going into the
eastern sea
and those in the rear into the western sea.
And its stench will go up;
its
smell will rise.‘
Surely he has done great things.
Be not afraid, O land;
be glad and rejoice.
Surely the LORD has done great things.
Be not afraid, O wild animals,
for the open pastures are becoming green.
The trees are bearing their fruit;
the fig tree and the vine yield their
riches.
Be glad, O people of Zion,
rejoice in the LORD your God,
for he has given you
the autumn rains in righteousness.
He sends you abundant showers,
both autumn and spring rains, as before.
The threshing floors will be filled with
grain;
the vats
will overflow with new wine and oil.
‘I will repay you for the years the locusts
have eaten—
the great locust and the young locust,
the other locusts and the locust swarm—
my great army that I sent among you.
You will have plenty to eat, until you are
full,
and you will praise the name of the LORD
your God,
who has worked wonders for you;
never again will my people be shamed.
Then you will know that I am in Israel,
that I am the LORD your God,
and that there is no other;
never
again will my people be shamed.
‘And afterward,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your old men will dream dreams,
your young men will see visions.
Even on my servants, both men and women,
I will pour out my Spirit in those days.
I will show wonders in the heavens
and on the earth,
blood and fire and billows of smoke.
The sun will be turned to darkness
and the moon to blood
before the coming of the great and dreadful
day of the LORD.
With this wrath, God has also sent the famine of the hearing
of the words of the Lord God, as written in Amos below:
R Amos:
Behold, the days come, says the Lord GOD,
that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for
water, but of hearing the words of the LORD: And they shall wander from sea to
sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the
word of the LORD, and shall not find it. In that day shall the fair virgins and
young men faint for thirst. They that swear by the sin of Samaria, and say,
Your god, O Dan, lives; and, The manner of Beersheba lives; even they shall
fall, and never rise up again.
Joel:
And everyone who calls
on the name of the LORD will be saved;
for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem
there will be deliverance,
as the LORD has said,
among the survivors
whom the LORD calls.
Above, in Joel it is written of that night:
S I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day:
the night comes, when no man can work. As long as I am in the world, I am
the light of the world
For it is written in
Luke 12:49-50 of Jesus Christ our Lord: “I
came to send fire on the earth, and
how I wish it were already kindled! “But I have a baptism to be baptized with,
and how distressed I am till it is accomplished!” Here in Luke and below in Jude we see the
beginning of what was written in Joel
chapter two.
Below in Jude, it is
written of the ungodly; and in Hebrew chapter six, more is written of them.
T Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to
them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and
called: Mercy unto you, and peace, and
love, be multiplied.
Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common
salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that
you should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the
saints. For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old
ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into
lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. I
will therefore put you in remembrance, though you once knew this, how that the
Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed
them that believed not. And the angels which kept not their first estate, but
left their own habitation, he has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness
unto the judgment of the great day. Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities
about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going
after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of
eternal fire.
Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of
dignities. Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he
disputed about the body of Moses, dured not bring against him a railing
accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke you. But these speak evil of those things
which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those
things they corrupt themselves. Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of
Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in
the gainsaying of Core. These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they
feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without
water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit wither, without fruit, twice
dead, plucked up by the roots; Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own
shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.
And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the
Lord comes with ten thousands of his saints,
To execute judgment upon all, and to
convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they
have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly
sinners have spoken against him. These are murmurers, complainers, walking
after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words,
having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage. But, beloved, remember
you the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus
Christ; How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time,
who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. These be they who separate
themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit. But you,
beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy
Ghost, Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord
Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And of some have compassion, making a
difference: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire;
hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. Now unto him that is able to keep
you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of
his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory
and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
Here we see that Daniel is warning of, what Joel is
prophesying, in chapter two..
U Therefore when you see the ‘abomination
of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy
place” (whoever
reads, let him understand),
“then let those who are
in Judea flee to the mountains. “Let him who is on the housetop not go down to
take anything out of his house. “And let him who is in the field not go back to
get his clothes. “But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are
nursing babies in those days! “And pray that your flight may not be in
winter or on the Sabbath. “For then there will be great tribulation, such as
has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever
shall be. “And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but
for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.
Only the Elect of God have eyes to
see and ears to hear.
V Ships of the western coastlands will oppose
him, and he will lose heart. Then he will turn back and vent his fury against
the holy covenant. He will return and show favor to those who forsake the
holy covenant.
“His armed forces will rise up to desecrate the temple fortress and
will abolish the daily sacrifice. Then they will set up the abomination that
causes desolation. With flattery he will corrupt those who have violated
the covenant, but the people who know their God will firmly resist him.
“Those who are wise will instruct many, though for a time they will
fall by the sword or be burned or captured or plundered. When they fall, they
will receive a little help, and many who are not sincere will join them. Some
of the wise will stumble, so that they may be refined, purified and made
spotless until the time of the end, for it will still come at the appointed
time.
Daniel 12:1-3.
“At that time Michael, the great prince who
protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has
not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your
people—everyone whose name is found written in the book— will be delivered.
Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to
everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt. Those
who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead
many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.
W For it is
written that Abraham had two sons: the one by a bondwoman, the other by a
freewoman. But he who was of the bondwoman was born according to the
flesh, and he of the freewoman through promise, which things are symbolic. For
these are the two covenants: the one from Mount Sinai which gives birth to
bondage, which is Hagar— for this Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia, and
corresponds to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children— but
the Jerusalem above is free, which is the mother of us all. For it is written:
“Rejoice, O barren,
You who do not bear!
Break forth and shout,
You who are not in labor!
For the desolate has many more children
Than
she who has a husband.”
Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are
children of promise. But, as he who was born according to the flesh then
persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, even
so it is now. Nevertheless what does the Scripture say? “Cast out
the bondwoman and her son, for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with
the son of the freewoman.” So then, brethren, we are not children of the
bondwoman but of the free.
x “Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who
dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil
has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short
time.”
Now when the dragon saw that he had been
cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male Child.
But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the
wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a
time, from the presence of the serpent. So the serpent spewed water out of his
mouth like a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away
by the flood. But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth
and swallowed up the flood which the dragon had spewed out of his mouth. And
the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of
her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus
Christ.
Now this flood the serpent spewed out
after the woman, is the water of the doctrines that was and is being preached
by the kingdoms of this world.. Because it is carnal and not spirit, the sprit
rejects ¾ the flesh drinks it up. Flesh and blood cannot
inherit the kingdom of God.
y Hear the
word of the Lord,
You who tremble at His word:
“Your brethren who hated you,
Who cast you out for My name’s sake, said,
‘Let the Lord
be glorified,
That we may see your joy.’
But they shall be ashamed.”
The sound of noise from the city!
A voice from the temple!
The voice of the Lord,
Who fully repays His enemies!
“Before she was in labor, she gave birth;
Before her pain came,
She delivered a male child.
Who has heard such a thing?
Who has seen such things?
Shall the earth be made to give birth in
one day?
Or shall a nation be born at once?
For as soon as Zion was in labor,
She gave birth to her children.
Shall I bring to the time of birth, and not
cause delivery?” says the Lord.
“Shall I who cause delivery shut up the
womb?” says your God.
“Rejoice with Jerusalem,
And be glad with her, all you who love her;
Rejoice for joy with her, all you who mourn
for her;
That you may feed and be satisfied
With the consolation of her bosom,
That you may drink deeply and be delighted
With
the abundance of her glory.”
For thus says the Lord:
“Behold, I will extend peace to her like a
river,
And the glory of the Gentiles like a
flowing stream.
Then you shall feed;
On her sides shall you be carried,
And be dandled on her knees.
As one whom his mother comforts,
So I will comfort you;
And you shall be comforted in Jerusalem.”
When you see this, your heart shall
rejoice,
And your bones shall flourish like grass;
The hand of the Lord shall be known to His servants,
And His indignation to His enemies.
For behold, the Lord will come with fire
And with His chariots, like a whirlwind,
To render His anger with fury,
And His rebuke with flames of fire.
For by fire and by His sword
The Lord
will judge all flesh;
And the slain of
the Lord shall be many. For
two thirds shall be cut off and die.
“Those who sanctify themselves and purify themselves,
To go to the gardens
After an idol in the midst,
Eating swine’s flesh and the abomination
and the mouse,
Shall
be consumed together,” says the Lord.
“For I know their works and their thoughts. It shall be that
I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come and see My glory. “I
will set a sign among them; and those among them who escape I will send to the
nations: to Tarshish and Pul and Lud, who draw the bow, and Tubal and
Javan, to the coastlands afar off who have not heard My fame nor seen My
glory. And they shall declare My glory among the Gentiles. “Then they shall
bring all your brethren for an offering to the Lord
out of all nations, on horses and in chariots and in litters, on mules and on
camels, to My holy mountain Jerusalem,” says the Lord, “as the children of Israel bring an offering in a
clean vessel into the house of the Lord.
“And I will also take some of them for priests and Levites,” says the Lord.
“For as the new heavens and the new earth
Which I will make shall remain before Me,”
says the Lord,
“So shall your descendants and your name
remain.
And it shall come to pass
That from one New Moon to another,
And from one Sabbath to another,
All flesh shall come to worship before Me,”
says the Lord.
“And they shall go forth and look
Upon the corpses of those
Who have transgressed against Me.
For their worm does not die,
And their fire is not quenched.
They shall be an abhorrence to all flesh.”
Herein is seen the city, the
covenant, our Mother and the church of the Lord our God.
z
But you have come to Mount
Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an
innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of the
firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all,
to the spirits of the just made perfect, to Jesus the Mediator of the new
covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that
of Abel.
See that you do not refuse Him who speaks.
For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall
we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks
from heaven, whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying,
“Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven.” Now this, “Yet
once more,” indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of
things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain.
Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have
grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. For
our God is a consuming fire.
